From the day our children are born, they learn and develop by touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, moving, doing, PLAYING! Children learn by playing in places they feel safe, respected, and loved. During our children’s first few years, learning occurs most naturally through play, in places where they feel safe, respected and that is why our program is play-based.
Children’s play is children’s “work”, their learning isn’t separate from play. Our continuing goal is to provide an environment with ample opportunity for children to learn naturally, where strong, positive bonds are formed between families and teachers.
Each day is full of activities and curriculum where every aspect of child development is covered from social, emotional, physical and cognitive. We encourage exploration, imagination, creativity, problem-solving. We build our play and learning around monthly themes. Our monthly themes are created by emerging our preschoolers’ ideas and interests with the season and special or current events. Our teachers provide an evolving and growing classroom full of new experiences and activities with opportunity to play and learn each day.
